Restoring the Past
About For the Cause

For the Cause is committed to restoring and preserving the Yellow Hill “colored cemetery” located north of Gettysburg, where two veterans of the U. S. Colored Troops were originally interred. Proceeds from Gettysburg Histories presentations support rehabilitation of this abandoned and forgotten site. To learn more about the Yellow Hill Cemetery project, contact Debra McCauslin at dmccauslin@gettysburghistories.com or (717) 528-8553.
